The "Lady Slipper"
The original model was crafted from cedar. The manufacturing
choice for fishing kayaks is rotational molding. A product
proven to take a beating and still perform. There is a
broad variety of plastic choices in this category. In order
to produce the best product available, one that would allow
us to extend a lifetime warranty on the hull, we chose
the Superlinear plastic to produce the Raptor.
Our Rotational molding facility is a second generation
family run business. Using a state of the art oven that
produces consistently superior parts each time. Quality
has alway been first priority and will remain so.
Not all kayaks are produced the same. There are plenty
of cheap roto-molded and blow molded boats out there. The
stories about leaks that develop along scupper holes and
hatches are testimony.
